NADRA Offers Online Application Procedure for CNIC

Islamabad: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched online application procedure for national identity card or CNIC. The new online system by NADRA will facilitate all the Pakistani’s to get the services of NADRA from their home. Previously, the whole procedure to get NADRA ID card or to renew it, was very tough and people have to stand in lines for hours outside NADRA offices. Sometimes, people returned to their home after standing for almost the whole day in line because of hundreds of people standing there for waiting their turn.

While inaugurating the online system of NADRA in Islamabad office, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that this government has given the mandate of national interest to NADRA. He said that by the end of PPP government, NADRA was in deficit but in the tenure of sitting government, NADRA has earned the profit of 5 Billion. He said that this system has been introduced to finish long queues outside the offices of NADRA. Chaudhry Nisar also added that each person receiving ID card will be VIP from now and can get the ID card with staying at home.

Procedure To Apply for CNIC Online

In order to get the services of NADRA online or to apply for the new or renewal of the CNIC, users first have to visit the Website of NADRA. For all the types of ID Cards, NADRA has made separate categories in its website, which are given below:
To get New ID card from NADRA, for only those people who are applying for their first CNIC card.
To Renew ID Card, for those users whose ID card is expired.
To get New Overseas ID Card, for those Pakistani citizens who are living abroad.
To Reprint ID Card, for those who want to get copies and print out of their ID card.
To Modify ID Cards, for those who have missed their details at the time when they applied for ID card.

When you select any of your required category from the official website of NADRA, you will directly go the description of that particular category to get further detail of it.

Documents Required for Online CNIC

NADRA has mentioned all the necessary documents on its website, required to apply for any of the above category online. People should have to only provide those documents to them while applying for any of the above given online service. You can also check Supporting Documents.

For Example: If anyone want to renew his/her CNIC card online, he/she will have to provide a scanned copy of CNIC. Similarly, if any overseas Pakistani or expatriate is applying for Overseas ID Card, he/she will have to provide them a Copy of Passport with CRC.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 20-04-2015. Candidates should fill the online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission's website www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till the last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

2. Candidates will have to deposit Rs:300/- for Sr. No.65, Rs:400/- for Sr. 61, 62, 63, 64 and Rs:700/- for Sr. No. 66 under head:“C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, in any Branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury before the closing date and receipt number will be mentioned in the Online Application form. Original Receipt will be produced at the time of Written Test, Interview / Viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Test, Interview / Viva voce. 3. Visually impaired / blind candidates intending to appear in the Punjab Public Service Commission’s tests / examinations are exempted of application / examination fee.


4. HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not required for the posts of BS-17 and below.

5. Candidates are requested to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application Form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create an e-mail account immediately. 6. In case a large number of applications are received, the Commission reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of their qualifications and academic record or hold one paper written test (MCQ type) of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualifications and job description of the post or relating to general ability, to shortlist the candidates.

7. Schedule of Written Test / Exam will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues for Written Test / Exam. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test/Exam individually. 8. Important Note:

i) Candidates will be called for interview provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her application will be rejected.

ii) Candidates will be admitted to the written test (if held) provisionally. Rules & Regulations.

a) Candidates can download application form along with the Deposit slip of Rs. 500/- for the posts of Stenographers, Junior Clerks, care takers and Data Entry Operators and Rs:250/- for the posts of Naib Qasid, Cook and Sweepers directly from the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk)

b) Test shall be held at Faisalabad (Date, Time and venue will be intimated on the Roll No. slips and NTS website).

c) Applications should reach in the NTS Islamabad office till 27th April, 2015 through post. The applications received after the due date will be rejected forthwith. Application through fax will not be entertained.

Eligible candidates list shall be uploaded on NTS website after 7 days on receipt of applications. NTS shall send roll number slip to the candidates at their postal addresses. In case, any candidate could not receive roll Number slip till 08th May, 2015, he/she may download it from NTS website (www.nts.org.pk)

d) The candidates are required to specifically mention in their application as to whether their relative is already working in Civil/Session court, Faisalabad and if his relative is already working, the candidate will submit an affidavit on a stamp paper mentioning the name and designation and relationship with the said employee.

e) The candidate already serving in government or semi government will apply through proper channel or append NOC of the said department with their application.

f) The candidates are required to attach their two recent passport size photograph, attested copies of their educational certificate, CNIC and domicile. They will bring original testimonials at the time of interview. Incomplete applications will be treated as rejected.

g) Independent applications will be submitted for each quota.

h) Only those candidates having the required qualification will be allowed to participate in the written test.

i) After short list out of the successful candidate in the test will be called for interview.

j) No TA/DA will be given to the candidates.

k) Application which has been uploaded on NTS website, should reach till 27th April, 2015 to the National Testing Service 1-E, Street # 46, Sector I-8/2, Islamabad and the candidates are required to specifically mention the quota on which the application is being made at the right corner of the envelop.

l) Applicants are required to mention their phone number/cell number in the application.

n) The authority is competent to short list the candidate and information to this effect will be placed on the website.
